I feel all nervous. First ever post.

I want to be sure I can post an image and secondly, get some help.

Went to a zoo in France and saw this door. The Door to Madagascar. So I took this knowing that at 2pm, it would be flat.

I then took a second one of a frog, hoping to get something worthwhile. But alas no.

Can anybody do anything we these ??
PS. How do I make it Image Editable ?

Oh my gosh! What a cool place:) That door is amazing. I am too much of an amateur to help out much, but your image editing is on and I am sure someone will have a hayday:) P.S. Welcome to POTN--- you'll love it here.

I took a shot at it.

I used 3 masks in Photoshop. The first was a level mask to lighten up the darkest areas. The second was a contrast mask to make it a little less flat. The last was a saturation mask to bring back some of the color that the other masks leeched away.

It is still an incredibly detailed structure and without going at it magnified to 600% (a time consuming task, beyond what I was willing to do for a sample) it isn't going to be crystal clear. Maybe not even then!
