Canon Mark III + Vivitar 285HV w/ single contact point = good times?
Tomorrow I'm hiking a pretty substantial trail with an Entomologist to photograph one of the largest honey bee hives on the planet (8'x15'). Since all I have are these wicked awesome 285HV's that I recently picked up for flashes, I just wanted to be damn sure, that before I throw one of these on my Mark III that I'm not going to fry my camera. Manual flash FTW, BTW... ;)
