I'm shooting a wedding next weekend and just found out the couple have a baby about 7 months old. I've never been in or known anyone in a sistuation where a baby was involde, at least not one the belonged to the bride and groom. Does anyone have any ideas on whos suposed to hold the baby during photos(bride or groom). I would asume its not the bride, but im just not quite sure. Any ideas or other helpful advice is much appreciated. Thanks!

having just got married (i had an 11 month old and 4 year old, at the time)and also shot a wedding involving a baby in the last 3 months i'd say go with whats natural, ensure you capture all the 'normal' wedding pictures then just get the couple away from the crowd and get them to play with the baby, getting big cuddles is always nice.

I shot a wedding for my cousin and her husband. They have a 4 year old son and he was the ring bearer and whatnot. He too had a dance with his mother and was apart of a lot of the photos but that's how they wanted it. He was apart of the marriage as well. You can check out her weddinga lbum at my site www.jsphotostudio.com and click on the Monica & David Wedding album. He comes out every so often and I also had a page just for him at the end of the album.

I'm getting married in October(again ) We're blending 2 families and we have 1 together, 18 months. I want his daddy to hold him during the formals although I'm sure that I'll hold him for some too. If you need to switch baby around and see what looks the best. :)
