I've been playing around with different gallery software to publish my photos, and I've just discovered a template for Lightroom's Web module called "Lightroom Gallery Complete".

LRGC lets you easily create a flash-based portfolio website directly from Lightroom - it basically builds on top of the existing flash gallery in LR and adds other features, such as a gallery index and "static" pages.

So far, it seems quite good and it presents the photos nicely. I'm not quite sure if I'll stick with this forever, but it's nice to try it out for now.

I've got a demo of LRGC on my website, let me know what you think: http://www.ceejaycee.net/photos/. I'd appreciate any feedback you have - on the gallery or the photos.

Lightroom Gallery Complete is available from http://www.lightroomgalleries.com/index.php.

Nice gallery, good shots.
I've also been using LRG Complete for a few months, I'm waiting for the new version that allows linking direct to specific albums!

Wow, I'm just impressed that you got LRG to work. I spent many hours on the stupid thing before giving up :(

Swaffs - as soon as the direct linking is a feature, I'm going to start using it properly I think. Right now I'm just playing around.

AdamC - yeah it took me a while to get it working. I think the reason was basically because of some changes Adobe made in LR2.0 that broke it. What troubles were you having? LRG has a good forum, maybe you could get help there?

Overall I'm not sure if I like it being flash-based - while it does mean that visitors can't easily nick your photos, it does reduce the usability of it.

After much screwing around, and following the install instructions to the letter (even the bits that didn't seem applicable) I ended up with something that has a row of 'undefined' down the side instead of the menu. Looked through the forum, couldn't find any answers. Also I found it really frustrating that I had to reconfig it every time - no apparent way to save the settings.

Shame, because what I was looking for was something like LR's SimpleViewer only with support for sub-albums, and LRG looked to be exactly what I wanted.

Anyway, sorry to drag your thread off topic - your gallery looks great!

change your admin password. people can mess with your pages.

A possible problem is that lightroom has changed it's format of the underlying code between v1.1, v1.3 and v2!!!

I've written a module that can add referer checking, additional headers/footers and a whole web sales front-end with shopping basket & gallery password protection - and the whole lot went out the window between LR versions!!!!

I've now gone back to version 1.1 for generating web galleries, then I can run my software to auto-customize them.

How do you get the photos and text onto the home page? It just shows the "loading" icon for me. Also, how do you create the other pages and make them work with the homepage links?
