I have a 20D with a 24-70 lens, the hood that comes with the lens, the 580EX flash, the Battery Grip, and of course the usual little things like the filter lens case, battery charget, etc.
Here are the requirements:
1) Shoulder Bag
2) For the most part weather resistant
3) Able to store the 20D with the battery grip and lens attached, preferably toploading
A majority of the time, the bag will be spent with me as I walk around in a club, on stage at a music event. I need something I can easily use to quickly put the camera way and take it out when needed.
So far I am looking at the Lowepro Stealth Reporter series, and the TopLoader 75AW. Any suggestions?

Have a look at the smaller Domke bags. The F2 for example or the F3X. You should also consider what stuff you might have a year from now. It'd be a shame to buy a nice bag and have it be too small within months.

Check out the Crumpler range. I have a budgie smuggler that easily fits my Rebel D, 17-40 (with its oversized hood), 85 f/1.8 with hood, and has room to move. It top loads, has a couple of decent pockets and is very well made. I really like my LowePro bags but quality wise this feels one up. Lastly its nice as it doesn't look particularly like a camera bag and is really well padded.
Anyway, you may want a slightly larger bag but they have plenty in their range.

I'd also go with the Domkes. The F2 will take a body, 3-4 lenses, a flash, and all the little bits and pieces you need (filters, batteries, cards, lens cleaning . . . ) in an easy-to-use bag.
