Friday last I took a moment to visit Hardware Ranch where the state wildlife division is feeding the Elk. There were about 650 head in on the day we went to look at them. There are most likely four times that many that have not come into this station, in our area. A second deep snow station is working up north of me as well, I think . . . I will have to go check that one out as well.

Anyway this shot of an 'Antler Forest' looked like a 'carrot' truck had tipped over in this little valley . . . lol. You could get your lips sore here for sure . . .

Whom do you know that favors such four footed beasts? I guess I should show a part of the 'herd' as best I can. I will have to get a fish eye lens to even try to take a picture of all of them . . .

You can get so close to these on the sleighs that they have to remind the little kids to keep their fingers inside the sleigh at all times, seems Elk will nibble on such thing, lol.

I wonder how far it is to Hardware Ranch from Montreal????????????????
Damn, that is a bunch of elk. Would need a couple of tons of carrots and a case of Lipsyl:):):):):):):)
Just did a rough calculation. From Montreal to Hyrum UT it is 1914.53 miles. Hey Sheldon! Want to go for a drive? We can pick up Scott and Leo on the way:):):):):)

LOL, I'll tell them to watch for you . . . and add another twenty miles up the canyon to your travel plans. They grow lots of carrots over in the other valley, shall I order up four ton of orange treats for you? You are on your own for the lip balm . . .

Sounds like fun . . .

Nice shot of the Elk! I was in Colorado last Oct, but didn't see any Elk. Lots of dead deer on the side of the road though.

Very cool! It's like an Elk assembly line.
