Is it possible to delete a post completely. I've looked in the faq but all i seem to be able to do is edit the post and remove the picture. Thanks

It depends on how Peka has it set up.

The VB forum I spend most of my time on allows members to "delete" a post, and moderators to "hide" "delete" and "remove" posts.

By "deleting" it all you do is remove it from public view, regular members can not see it, and have no idea it was ever there, but mods and admin see a little tag line with the members name, who deleted the post and a reason why. They then have the ablity to return the post, view it, or leave it as it is.
Im not sure what "hiding" a post does, seems some what redudant.
"Removing" a post more literaly deletes it, it goes into the great recycke bin in the sky, and only admin have any idea it was ever there, and only if they check the right logs.
Only mods and admin have this ablity.

Its a very handy way of managing posts, members can remove double posts and mistakes etc, but the admin and mods still have a record of members who cause trouble, then delete the post thinking they have gotten away with it.
