Hello all:
I am just getting into this whole digital camera world (I know it took me long enough). I have never owned a digital camera but keep borrowing them from other people and I think this is getting on their nerves as well as inconvenient for myself. Therefore, I am thinking of taking the plunge and getting a Digital Rebel. Is this a wise choice? With all these rebates and such that Canon has out and a couple of coupons I can use on Dell I could get the camera for about $850 after shipping and tax. Is this a good deal?
I am also wondering which CF card I should get and one of the more important decisions which lenses? I would definetely like to get a close up lens so that I can take really close up shots.
Any help you guys can provide would be great and I thank you for you time in reading this.
