for your obligatory "dress in window/over door" shots? I keep seeing the same clear plastic dress shop hangers and I feel like I can't say, "nice shot, but that ugly plastic hanger is distracting..." because they seem to be the accepted norm. Still, in every dress shot, my eye goes right to that ugly plastic hanger.

Sorry, just the random stuff I think about when I'm browsing the wedding forum at 1am on a Wednesday.

Either those or a nice wood hanger works best. I keep a few on hand that way I have them when I need them. You're right though, you do see a lot of cheap plastic hangers holding up the $3000 wedding dress.

Agreed,
If they hung it on that hanger, that is how it should be remembered.

I wouldn't bring a hot chick in a wedding dress to the shoot just in case the Bride was ugly.
