I currently have an Xti and the battery that comes with it is an 'NB-2LH." However, i have 2 spare batteries from an older point and shoot and one is a "Canon NB-2L" while the other is a Radio Shack version that is compatible to it...Both of these fit the Xti and according to the Canon website, both the Xti and Powershot s30, use the same battery. My question is, bc the lettering in the name is NOT EXACT, is there any chance of these 2 older batteries, damaging my Xti??

just trying to be careful:D...LOL!!! Thanks!

No - the only difference is that the NB-2LH has a higher mAH (capacity) rating than the NB-2L, so it'll last longer.

That battery is used in so many cameras, so no, it won't hurt and yes, it will work. The NB-2LH just means that it is the high capacity (more mah), thus the H.

EDIT: Doggonit Jon, you are too fast! ;)
