I was in Taiwan last week and had about 1 1/2 days to sightsee. Although it was overcast and partly rainy in Taipei, I got some shots of the new Taipei 101 office tower and adjoining shopping mall. It's beautiful, but the tower wasn't open to go up in (opens in March). I put some of the shots together to make this postcard-like picture.

Like the postcard effect. Looks like a lot of stairs to walk up :-).

Perhaps for the time being till that monstrosity known as the freedom tower goes up in NYC to replace the Twin Towers. That one is supposed to be 1776 ft tall.

Here are a few links:

Projected completion is 2009.

Thanks guys. I forgot to mention that I took them with my old trusty G2. (I had to travel light.) Still a good camera.

Cool effect. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate a little better.
