yeah I waited hoping that they would. They never did fully get into any better position than that. Not an easy task I am sure.

Nice catch. What planes were in the formation? Texan's? Mustang's? I can't make it out.

honestly I am not sure. I'm not much of a warbird expert from afar. Here is a high res shot after they broke up if that helps at all

Yeah, in your shot linked there they look like the T-6 Texan.
