Cool shot but on my monitor it looks a tad dark.

I hear that often. I have two monitors both Samsung. One 24" which is bright and one 21" sync master which is a little darker. I usually process on the big one.
Thanks for the C&C.

To me the upper center and upper right quadrant (as you look at it) is darker than the rest of the image.

I have to agree. I just calibrated my monitor as well so I am glad its noticed by others. I do like the shot however.

yeah it is.. if that looked like the left side that would be a killer picture.

Same here, lighten a tad and that would be a great shot.

Stargazer, that now made the image too bright.

I agree with this statement completely. The image is darker in the upper right quadrant, compared to the other 3 quadrants. Otherwise, it is a good HDR.

it's a good composition. I don't think HDR is necessary to 'improve' the shot. To be honest i think it degrades the image. You see a lot of people using HDR to heavily now. If your using it to the point that white objects... i.e. clouds are turning grey and dirty looking it just looks bad. I'd like to see the original images, as the composition, background, and cloudy sky looks quite good.
