JPG file in ACR 4.2 (?)

I have some JPG shots that I would like to open up in ACR?

How would I go about it?

Open the photoshop preferences, under file handling you can say "prefer ACR for JPG/TIFF files".

I have PSE 6 and in preferences it ONLY shows...to check or uncheck to "open" RAW supported files in ACR....

Any other ideas?

Hey booju, I have Elements 5 and ACR 4.5, don't know if ACR 4.2 will do this or not but give this a try:

go to "File>Open As", select your JPEG and use the Open As drop down file loader in the bottom of the window, pick Camera Raw, click OK. I just tried it on mine and works for me!
