My dog Brandy

My home studio is starting to come together. The room is actually not ready but I have playing with my Alien Bees which arrived this week. This was taken in my livinig room. How does it look?? Thanks. John

I'm not sure about the black subject on differend shade of black background, Perhaps you'd be better off with a light grey background... or something in color perhaps?

The shot itself looks great, but the dog is, as I see it, not at peace, it's about to get up, or it just laid down or something drew his attention.

karusel--I wasn't sure about the black on black thing myself, but the printed version came out quite nice. Your remark about her not being at peace is pretty un-canny. I used a couple of key words to get her ears up, but she was posed on a small table and never got totally comfortable there. Excellent observation!!
