Black squirrels, where do you live?

Interesting the only place I have seen black squirrels in any qty. is when I visit the in-laws in Canada

There are "colonies" in various places. They have then in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The issue is they are smaller than red, brown and gray squirrels and, the gene is recessive, so if they breed with a non-black squirrel, the offspring will not be black.
