Okies... so here's some hoops action from this evening... plus the last shot is a remote shot using those little wizards again... plenty of potential here I think... just need to get those ladders out!

nice pictures mate....what cam lens and settings did you use most of the time? Looks like you were struggling for light as much as I do.

Cheers

Thanks Tom!

These were with the 1D MkII and 85mm f/1.8.... all shot at 1/500s, f/1.8 at 3200ASA... so far from ideal!

....except the remote shot which was on the 10D with the 20mm f/1.8... at 1/250s, f/1.8 at 1600ASA.

I hope to try the 85mm F1.8 soon, will mean i can get close to the action without having to use ASA3200 like i did here: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=55034

My conditions must be slightly better as with my 50mm F1.8 i get a consistant 1/500th where i shoot @ 1600ASA.

Cheers

more great pics gmen...i dont know how you guys get the lighting to look so good in tough gyms.

seeing your first couple posts with the pcket wizards has me anxiously waiting for more. some really cool shots should be had, expecially with you foolin around with em.

Crikey... I'd love to shoot somewhere I could set the camera to 1600ASA! My time will come I hope!

Much appreciated 3oh6! I think there's a long, long, long way to go with the remote shots... loads of options but lots of mistakes and failures to come... but's that's all part of the fun of course!
