Thinking bout trying to Trade up (300D->20D)

I'm in a delima I want to get the 20D for a small number of reasons even more specifically for the second curtain flash capability. And so on. Right now I'm shooting with a rebel, this is the list of items I'm thinking of selling to either trade for a 20D (body only if I have to) or get the value that would equal the ammount I'd have to pay for one.

-Canon Digital Rebel (almost a year old) (original box aval and original warrenty card)
-Canon EF-S 18-55
-Two BP-511 Batteries
-BG-E1 Vertical Grip
-The 3 years remaining on the Performance Service Plan
-Sandisk Ultra II 256MB
-AC kit ( lets you plug the rebel into an AC outlet )
-Vivitar 283 Manual Flash
-Vivitar off-shoe cable
-Vivitar AC power cord
-lowepro EX 160 bag

also with the possibility of including in the above package
-15GB 3rd Generation iPod
-Car Charger for 3Gen Ipod with Tape adapter plugin
-The tape adapter
-My Registration to the Anapod software used with the iPod
-The Compaq iPaq 3835
-The 128MB PNY SD & 256MB PNY CF in the ipaq
-A Kingston 256MB SD
-Cradle for iPaq
-Dual PCMCIA sleeve for the iPaq
-Dual CF Sleeve for the iPaq


So what you guys think, think i should just try to sell the above and go for the 20D.

I'm kinda wondering why you'd ant to sell all that stuff. Most of it will work with the 20D.

BG-E1 will not work with the 20D. I already have more batteries, I Already have a larger CF card. I already have a spare bag. I already have 3 other lenses I can use.

Those are very good reasons. The extras will certainly help someone who's just starting out.

I figured as much, the stuff I listed above especially a full manual flash will give them a large level of playing around. When shooting in Large Fine Jpeg mode the 256MB will hold well enough 160 pictures or so. Grip will give it balance, and with the two batteries double the battery life. The extra if I must will be good for a play kit ( pop memory card into PC show off pics etc ), listen to music while you are out on a photo shoot, so on and so on. Far as myself I'm trying to prepare for getting larger and better things. If i can get my hands on a 20D i'll work towards getting possible a Speedlite 580EX, then from there possibly my first 'L' Glass.

no doubt bout the L glass, already heard from people with the 'L' Fever. One question tho, do I need to go as far as including *everything* above, and ask for something around 1600-1800 (tho I'd imagine maybe I'd have a far better chance trying to sell things indivisually)
