imageHauler 1.0 replacement

Well I used to use a program called imageHauler 1.0 to download pictures from my camera to the Hard drive of my mac. It would bypass the flash card, on my digital rebel, and write to an area of the hard drive. You could set commands like when you wanted a picture taken, and even take pictures by hitting the space bar. Now i really need that program again, but the program is gone. If anyone has anything like this that you can hook up your camera to your computer and take pictures, please tell me. It doesn't matter if it is PC either.

if you go on to Canon's website and go to software downloads, you want a software product (free) called Remote Capture. They do it both for the PC and for the Mac (OS X only I think). I think it does everything you ask, but I'm not 100%.
