Great! Thanks for these... I'm interested in doing some hockey shoots myself. Are all these taken with the 70-200? I noticed you have the 50 1.8, do you think the extra open end at aperture on that lens would help keep the images sharper or did you need the extra focal length up to 200? In that case am I looking for an extremely expensive prime? :confused:

How far up were you sitting? It looks like you might have had to shoot through the 'glass', or did you luck out and get one of the holes in the glass? Sorry for all the questions.

I'm the team photographer so I was right behind the goal. I would like to have a f/2.8 which will be my next purchase, the lighting is ok, but not great in the rink we use. Being down next to the rink where the light reflects off the ice helps alittle. I'm gonna try to shoot some of these at f/8 where its the sharpest.
