I hope someone can help me on this.
I have always set my 300D (with firmware hack) to the Adobe RGB 1998 parameter setting and connected it to my mac. image capture would download the image with the ADOBE RGB 1998 color profile ready for use in photoshop.
recently this hasn't been working and the images get the canon camera profile embedded instead. if I set the camera to any of the auto modes the adobe profile is indeed embeded, but not in the manual modes.
does anyone know why this isn't working anymore?
any help will be much appreciated.
