Can anyone please tell me on my 1D MkII if you make adjustments to the parameters settings i.e: sharpness, colour saturation, and contrast, will the adjustments apply to raw pictures taken or do they only apply to Jpeg pictures.

I am currently using capture one SE version 3.5.1 and find this excellent and I only shoot in raw mode but was wondering if making these settings higher would save me some time on the post editing stage.

I do find the pictures on my MkII soft compared to ones on my 10D

I only use Canon L lenses and I mainly use my 24-70mm f2.8L and find this a brilliant lens for every day use.

Thanks for the help

Only to jpg, RAW is RAW, you cant change it.
Have a look at Capture One Pro for processing RAW, ive been using it a while and so far its the best Ive found.

The settings you make on the camera are not permanently applied to the Raw file, unless you select them in the Raw converter to be used in processing. They are used to display the Raw file in the Raw converter as you need some interpretation of the Raw data to view it, but you can change the parameters as you wish as often as you wish.
