Hello,
So somehow, the LCD on my iXus 40 has become considerably scratched. And im not sure how. The scratching isn't deep, just like smudge scratching (but not just a smudge!). So is there anyway, of "cleaning" the screen? Its quite annoying, especially as the camera is new. I plan on getting one of those plastic screens for it. (like a palm pilot)
Anyway, thanks

Some people will say that you shouldn't put the little LCD protective film on the EOS bodies...I'm not sure what the iXus has..does it have a plastic piece covering the actual LCD like the EOS's do? If so, that plastic piece can be replaced for about $10...if not, I'd definitely get some PDA film on there. I put it on all of my cameras, even my 10D that has the plastic protective piece.

...refer to the above post. Does it have a plastic screen or is the actual LCD exposed on that camera?

If already scratched, there is not much you can do about it. Put a PDA LCD cover sheet on it to prevent further scratching, I guess. :(
