I am shooting with a 10D and S50 usually at max res. How can I resize the photos for posting on this site? I have been using PS Elements for basic editing (very basic editing).
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

In Elements you can do a save for web and off to the right hand side of the screen you can change the image size. The max size for here is 800 on the widest side. You can also change your quality in this same area which will then change the file size. If you want to retain your exif information you can do a Image-Resize-Image size and make the changes here, then do a Save As.

Some more info, including specific instructions for Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=54729

Elements should be pretty close to the Photoshop instructions.

Image / Image Size, make sure "Resample Image" is checked (on) and enter the new size in pixels (800 x ... - it will fill in the other size automatically).

Keep in mind, I notice when you "Save for Web" the Exif information is lost, important to know if you have gallery software that depends on this information.

I use Irfanview, best resizing program that I've used.
