Last Friday was the date 080808 and I have got plenty of inquiries for that date but only managed to take on two couples. First I had an 1-hour portrait session around noon and later the same day I did a 6-hour assignment including portraits, formals, the cermony and the beginning of the reception. Puh..., it was a long day!

The weather was shifting between bad and really bad and during most of the portrait session we had to use umbrellas, be indoors or use natural shelters under trees etc. When the couple walked out of the church the rain was however taking a break so during the congratulations and when the couple left in their small boat they didn't have to get too wet.

Here are some photos.

What an amazing set. I love how her veil is thicker and less transparent then normal ones. Great job!

Thanks all!

Her veil was definately the oldest veil I have come across. It was made by hand by her grand grand mother somewhere around 1900, absolutely beautiful!

I am surprised that no one has mentioned that before :-)! I have a tendency to shoot a lot of diagonal photos and after uploaded these I realized that of of them are the same. But of course, the couple will have a lot more than these to chose from (they will get a selection of around 500 pictures from 6 hours of photoshoot).

:-) :-) :-)

I have a number of lenses but my favourites for portraits are Canon 50 mm 1.4 and Canon 135 mm 2.0L (and Canon 100 mm 2,8 macro - super sharp for both ring shots and portraits!). Of these no. 1-5 and 8 were taken with the 50 mm and no. 6-7 with the 135.

I honestly think that you comment is one of the most refreshing in this thread ;-) .

I admit that a whole collection of angled photos maybe is a bit too much and I didn't think of when I uploaded them.

I haven't had the time to go through this couple's photos yet but I promise I have some non-angled as well :-)!

But of course,... I do shoot a lot like this... here is some photos of another couple www.ranas.lindisima.se .
