Okay. Here goes. I would basically like your comments and suggestions for PP for the following pictures.

We unfortunately had 45 minutes to take pictures ... so we had to be running.

And you'll notice they don't have their rings ... as the shots were taken before the actual wedding.

Thanks guys

I'm no PS wizard but I would definitely clone out those 2 people on the walking path - that would make that a great symbolic image of them starting down a new road together - yadda yadda :)

I would have to agree with Apshiso on doing a clone job on pic 4 (unless those are people that they specifically wanted in the frame... doubtful) .

Sorry you couldn't get them to put the rings on for the pictures! having pictures with the rings is not a huge deal to some couples. I am sure the couple will be very pleased with these.

white balance is off on the first 3 and maybe even the last one.

weird ... cause I had them hold a white card before shooting and set the camera to use that picture for WB

lol... you should have probably gotten a grey (gray) card instead...

Edit: Sorry, I'll be a bit more constructive. The shots are good, and #1 even works with the off WB, but a lot seem out of focus. Checking the EXIF data, you're shooting f/8 ISO 800 and 1/25? Those aren't ideal shooting conditions considering the ISO quality on the 400D.

It's a commendable 1st wedding (they're never easy), but there are a few things you could work on for #2.

I should also add that I think you did a good job and I'm sure the happy couple will be even happier with these photos. :)

I don't have a Healing brush tool on my program. (at least I don't think I do)
To use the cloning tool you simply right click on the area you want to copy and then left click to paste it. On my program you can determine opacity & hardness & size. It definitely takes practice. Thank God for the "undo" button. It has saved my *** ;)

I also adjusted the white balance on this photo and used my 'glamour' tool with no special effects just to give it a slight glow.

Hope this answers your questions. :)

Nice work for a first wedding. I hate to be the one to break it to you, but 45 minutes is a pretty good amount of time (especially if that's just B&G time).
