Nevermind, I found the answer.

Thanks

Hi All, I got a few questions on taking your camera to places where weather is at an extreme.

Like going to the mountain top to take people snowboarding / skiing.

Going to rain forest to take pictures of mother nature and all of a sudden it rain.

How do you protect your equipements.

Since new weekend I am going with some of my friends to snowboarding. I am just there to take pictures. Do you have any recommandations on how I can protect the camera from getting wet from the snow?? I know I need to use ziplock bags to adjust the temperature of the lense and camera body. But what should I have to keep it dry during photo shooting.

Also I am planning to go on a trip to beachs and take pictures where the air is wet. How do I take pictures of waves and suffer without getting the them wet.

Thanks in advance.

lol - i was just in rainforest (http://www.pbase.com/iagrafx/gallery/lamington_national_park) - and it did start to rain... :-| i still got a few shots though. i simply kept the camera under my jumper and my backpack shielded my lenses, batteries, flashes, etc.

With the MKII, all you need is a rainproof lens and you're good to go. No worries.

What I have read is, try not to go in and out of the cold / warm enviornment. So your lense wont fog up. Also bring ziplock bags w/ you.

Thats all I found.

Hope the answer is not too disappointing.

yeah - it's one of the main reasons i got it. the downside is not enough (of my) lenses are weather resistant. what i really need is a rainproof wife....
