Save file destination in CS2

When I open a photo in cs2 after edit's it saves it back to the file I opened it from...As it should be.

But when I am in Dpp with a CR2 and then "open in photoshop" after edit's it attempt's to save it in some obscure file burried in the adobe hiearchy...

Is there a way to get it to automatically save back to the folder it came from?

I had gave it a glance and passed as another "I don't need anymore junk" but this does look quite functional.
