Nice shots Jim, Saves me the trouble of venturing down through the village to see what it is like :lol: :lol: :lol: . I love the view from the cemetery. The Collins Co. at the forebay is always a nice colorful shot. Good Job.

Thanks. We were spared the worst of the storm. I thought we were going to be snowed in for a couple of days. Now I have to go to work tomorrow. :(

Nice pictures. As I was scrolling through them, I figured this must be one of Sandy's posts. :D
What causes the circles around the headstones in the first shot?

Lonnie;
Not my post but Jim's. Thanks for the complaiment. My guess on the circles is that the cemetery is on a very steep west facing hill and the wind just whips up there. That and this is a fairly narrow valley with the river, it kind of creates a wind tunnel effect. By the way I did venture out and took a few shots. There posted here somewhere. Course mine, unlike Jim's, were mostly taken from in the car. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Thanks. The wind swirling around the headstones must have caused the circles. It was really blowing during the storm. Sandy and I live in the same area. :)
