I am on another photographty forum as some of you know as is Andrew. He asked me if I would like ot borrow his Sigma 100-300 f4 EX to which I jumped at the offer. Big thank you for that. Here are some of the pictures i manged to get with it.

P.S sorry about the lack of varity but there where trees and it was raining. Plus i only had it for 40 mins so didnt really want to go to far away from the paddock!!

Getting to grips with a new lens, especially one thats considerably heavier than the one you're used to takes quite a bit of practise. As you only had it for a short time, I think you've done pretty well.

I was busy in the paddock so offered Matt the use of my lens.

Good god it was heavy. My wrist hurt for a while afterwards!!

I can't argue with that.

I'd have been tempted to zoom in a bit closer on #1 to lose the fence though. Fences behind the car are generally hard to avoid, but fences in the foreground are another matter :)

Point taken. Yeah, but there were trees and it was raining so you know.. :D

Just cropped it closer. Is this better?
