The Funny Car Reunion is an annual event, at Raceway Park, for the Nostalgia drag racers from the 50's 60's and 70's.. The weather went from nice and sunny in the morning to heavy overcast, then rain by the afternoon :( A short day at the track but i had a good time shooting.. Here's a couple.

Excellent shots! I like what you did with # 6, makes it look you were there back in the day.

On number three, besides shooting in B&W (I assume) what did you do in PP to get that old time look? You did an excellent job, and just curious as to some helping techniques. Great work!!!

it was shot normal color, Large jpg.. i just used the Lightroom Quick Develope setting "Creative - Antique Greyscale", then exported to Photoshop for a crop and coppyright. Thats about it.

Well shot, the sepia treatment on number 6 is brilliant! Well observed!

Did you have a pass or were these shot from the stands? What lens?

gdrMatt - I consider myself an amateur and am aching to find out how I may get a photo pass at etown... how may I go about this? Do you need to "know" someone? I've searched for information but can find none....any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, john.
I'll try to post some of my own photos (whatever I have available on the machine being used today).
