Can I get some clarification from a mod as to why a topic was moved?

I posted this thread (http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=55120) earlier today, and this is the thread in question. I am curious about why this thread was moved. Why does a thread that concerns the durability of Canon EOS Digital Camera lens mounts warrant a move from the Canon EOS Digital Cameras board?

Most of the time, I agree with mods decisions on this board, but I am honestly very confused about why this one got moved. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmmm...dunno. We'll have to find out who moved it and what the reasons were. Looks like the issue was pretty much answered anyway, but I'll see what I can find out.

I don't actually recall moving it.. but if it was in EOS and got moved the chances are about 95% it was me...

And your right it should be in EOS... so I'll move it back (assuming this is what you would like)

Assuming it was me... or speaking for another mod that might have done it.. EOS is the forum in which we get the most OT threads by far... so it is policed pretty closely in this regard... My bet is your thread title through us.

Ah ha...that makes a lot of sense. I appreciate the explaination. It would be nice to have it back on the EOS Digital board if it wouldn't be too much trouble...otherwise, no big deal.
