Hello, First post here so I apologize if this has been posted and I missed it during my search. I've been using an Olympus C-2100 UZ for several years with good results. I do a lot of motorcycle traveling and am looking at purchasing a A95 due to it's size and ease of use. The mounting for an extra lens is very different than what I'm used to. Is there an adapter that would allow me to install a teleconverter (that I already have) with 55mm threads? Also what is the maximum size of memory card that it will recognize? TIA

You can try using a 52-55 mm step-up ring (available at better camera stores) to get from the standard 52 mm thread on the A95's lens adapters to the 55 mm of your lens. You'll be able to use any CF card up to at least 1 GB. 2 GB may well be OK too, if it's FAT16-formatted. Anything over 2 GB will be FAT32; I don't know if the camera will recognize that.

Thanks Jon. I bit the bullet yesterday but ended up going with an S1 IS over the A95. The A95 was smaller which is what I wanted but I just couldn't bring myself to give up the 10x stabilized zoom. So it was a trade of mega pixels for optics!

You definitely made a good choice. I very much enjoy the IS and the 10x optical zoom. I get handheld bird shots that would be impossible with my old 35mm at 10x zoom without a tripod. The only problem will be, how to handle that lens cover? You may be able to design a hinge-down thingie to keep the cover attached, or maybe even a custom made UV filter holder that wouldn't require the usual specialized adapter, and thus protect the lens.
