View Full Version : How I view attachments and/or web photos

I've tried both IE and Firefox, but can't figure it out. When I view either a link to a submitted photo or an attachment of a submitted photo, I always view it through my browser. That of course gives me NO file info beyond the size of the jpeg I'm looking at. I can, I know, save that photo, then open it in PS or Windows Picture Viewer and access the file info.
Is there a better way?
Thanks, Jim

If you right click on a photo you can choose Properties - but this just height & width and size in bytes. What other info are you looking for?

Camera data (exif?), so I can understand more about the photo. That's what I can see in the Windows Picture Viewer and in Photoshop. It's just a hassle getting the picture to those programs and I'm hoping there's an easier way. If someone sent them to me via email, they would open with the Picture Viewer automatically and I know how to change that to PS if I choose. I was hoping there's a way to do this from the forum.

ViewEXIF. It's an IE plug-in that allows you to right-click and view the EXIF information that you configure. Not the prettiest program, but it works.
