Canon S5 IS upgrade coming soon?

I'm still waiting.....the S5 came out in May 2007 and I was about to buy it when I thought that its been over one year since the S5 came out, so why not wait for the newer updated version, IF there ever is one that's coming out!..

Its been fifteen months since the S5 came out, and I thought that by now Canon would be putting the upgrade on the shelfs, but no such luck, so far.....

Does anyone have some info about this?
