hi
i read but i don't remember where how can obtain more natural white and black colors
i added a screenshots so you can see what i'm talking about
does somebody which values gives to blacks white and gray?
i douple click on the the black eyedrop
i will appreciate it

As long as your image is in a theoretical, well-behaved colour space eg sRGB, Adobe RGB, ProPhoto RGB, a tone will be perfect grey as long as the R, G and B values match. So 89,89,89 will be a perfectly neutral dark grey, and 203,203,203 will be a perfectly neutral light grey. And obviously, 128,128,128 is the perfect middle grey.
Don't try to select a grey using CMYK values, you'll get nothing but grief.
And I don't have any time at all for that "White 242 and Black 13" nonsense - I'd rather use the full available dynamic range in my images.

22. Color Correction
Introducing color correction with eyedroppers
Chris Orwig
tells that the industry standard in the photography is to set the white to 242 242 242 and set the black to 13 13 13 to have a more natural color correction
but he doesn't tell the gray value
i have the dvd , if you want i can upload the movie
and it makes really look the photos more real , natural

White and black are relative.
Some images' white is, when you cover the rest of the image, actually yellow, others bluish.
Colors work for us in correlation to the surrounding colors.
For good white and black
1. calibrate your monitor
2. Color management on in Photoshop
3. Check white balance while shooting. Canon cameras have good automatic white balance in daylight.
4. Adjust white balance in image when editing.
So you need to get ALL COLORS right to get good whites and blacks, respectively images tones that are perceived as whites and blacks within a certain image.

well the point outside the raw , is to find the black point , the white point the gray point and to use the eyes dropper to calibrate
and it looks better

ok so Auto Curves alters the image like this:
Black - 1,0,0
White - 255,255,254
Gray - 134,129,120
doing it the way i show alters like this
Black - 0,0,0
White - 255,255,255
Gray - 130,131,131
which is the best way, up to you really

if you use Auto Levels, or Auto Curves, they both come out with the same result i posted above ;)

sorry my english is poor
my question is if i follow your tutorial (find with threshold the black point after the white point and the gray point with a gray layer with blend difference) obtain the same result with autolevels?
