Hello,

I have an S45 myself... I've had it for two years now...

if this is always the case...
you must've set the continuous shooting mode on?
to set this back
1. press func
2. look for the shooting mode icon
(about 3 or four icons down, it might look like three overlapping rectangles
if the icon is the three overlapping rectangles, then you have to change it to
single)
3. press set (press center on the 5 way button)
4. select the icon with the single rectangle.

sounds like auto-bracketing is possibly on. When this function is enabled, the camera takes 3 images each time the shutter button is fully depressed. 1 at normal exposure, 1 underexposed, and 1 overexposed.
