Very nice..May i ask an amateur question?? Ok, thx...LOL....I always find it hard when using large aperture, to get a whole section in focus...like i woulda just been able to get the hand, or part of the drawing in focus, but NOT the whole thing....Where did you focus on when taking the shot???

I focused on the painting, to get the real guy slightly out of focus.

you need to focus in the middle (middle in terns of distance from your camera) of all that you want to be in focus, and then some of the image in front and some behind the focal plane will all be within acceptable focus.
