Achiever 630AF for Digital Rebel 300D

Does anyone have any experience or info on the Achiever 630 Flash?
I purchased this from a camera show today and eventhough it says for Canon AF, is it any good with the Digital Rebel?
I had searched all over the internet and found very little information or technical specs with this unit.

I think that is the one I had with my Rebel G. It will work with the Drebel, but only in manual mode. :(

These were made before digital, so they dont have any references saying only FILM cameras. It worked great on my A2E but you cant use any of its features on Canon digital cameras.
