Can anyone help me with a place to d/l that manual ?
I got the flash from germany and i need a english manual.

In the UK you get aimed here to Robert Scott Associates because Canon say no on-line version can be had:

But this mob http://www.manualsrus.com/Shopping_Cart/photo/flash/canon/caSpeedlite500EX.asp offer downloadable, printed and CD versions.

I was told that a printed manual would cost GBP 8, but as I had a German version (although I bought my 550 in the UK ??? ), I got an FOC swap by sending the German version.
