First Effort

Well, here is my first saved shot out of my new 20D. It was the wife's birthday on Saturday, so I took her shopping at Fashion Show Mall here in Vegas. I stayed next to the runway and practiced with my new toy. I see the focus is a little soft, which I suspect was the result of too slow a shutter speed. I should of cranked up the ISO a little, don't you think? Actually, I had FORGOTTEN about the ISO! :o

This was taken with the pop up flash, at about 1/30 f5.6 and about 70mm focal length with the Canon 17-85mm IS lens.

Hm. It seems like you're focused on the two guys. lol! Anyway... seems a bit.. yellow. maybe it's the lighting. Nice shot though. Was f/4 all the way open? I would've done something like f/2.8 and focussed on one of the girls, but that's just me :D
