I have no clue about plants which is really sad since I was married to a landscape architect for 8 years!

I wish I would have used my monopod but even though it is not as sharp as I wish, I still like the photo.

This was taken immediately following a bad thunderstorm.

Thanks. Talked to my friend and she said this is a Daylily. Looking it on the web it appears maybe to be Anchient Reflections Daylily.
