Funny story from walking Jasper. I called him when he was playing with a bunch of other dogs, and this terrier came running up to me. It seems his name was Jasper too. A girl I know there said "Hi Jim", and the owner lady of the other Jasper said "Oh, my husbands name is Jim, and he has a bald head too.". So, I said to her "I suppose your name is Lisa then". She looked at me with this weird look on her face, and said "Why, yes it is" :D Too funny, another Jim, Lisa and dog Jasper in our neighbourhood.

That is TOO funny! I knew another Jennifer/Scott (my ex).... I know lots of Jennifer's.... and a few Jenny's.... and a few more Jen's..... nothing special there.... but what is the co-inky-dink that there's be a Jim/Lisa/Jasper!?!?!? Wow!

Ok... I'm off to bed... I crashed hard this afternoon... my older son put away the rest of the groceries after he finished his homework... while I dozed in the recliner.... UGH... I tried to stay awake but couldn't... and now I'm ready for bed again....

The people we bought our camper from were a Frank/Terri team, also. Last name off by one letter. Also both Terri's are Gemini's *cues Twighlight Zone music*

When I was headed overseas in 1966 I almost got someone else's immunizations because we had the same first and last name. The only thing that kept me from getting another complete set of shots was someone noticed the discrepancy in our ranks. He was a 2nd Class Petty Officer and I was a Seaman...

Not too sweet on this one. I dunno what flavor it is, maybe "Ice" flavored. It's the one that is not clear when in the bottle, red top. Wife bought a lot for her birthday party a couple weeks ago and there are many still left. She also got a grape one, strawberry one and Black.

I looked up USS Caron... A Spruance class destroyer; cool! One question, though. She was powered by gas turbines. What did an MM do on there? No steam turbines to work on... Did you work on the jet engines?

Gas? My remembery is telling me they were diesel. Anyway, I worked in the engine room. There were two, one on each side. I was assigned to the port engine room. Basically, my job was to sit there in front of a large board full of gauges and watch them to make sure none of the needles pointed to a red area. Once an hour I got to crawl all around the rest of the engine room to check on a few other gauges. Real mundane stuff.

I have not picked up the fourth Odd yet. I am waiting for long winter nights for that treat :)

Becky... when do you finish rehearsal and start the show?

Caught me just about to log off...we open on the 20th. 2 shows on the 20th and 21st, then 1 show on the 27th and 28th.

Originally there was suppose to be 2 on the 27th, but last night the board cancelled the evening show...we have so many kids in the show that said they could not do that night due to homecoming...don't get me started on that one.

OK out for real now.

Just popping in to say hi! Got my 40D today and should have my 100mm macro by the weekend.

Here is one of my first pictures with the new camera

I have no clue about the color or anything as hubby got me a new flat screen and I am not used to it at all.
Looks great, your boys have real depth in their eyes.
