Hi Folks

After much deliberation I have decided to invest a little more money and buy a 70 - 200 lens (Probably a teleconverter next year)

Just wondering if any of you have used either of these or bought from the following companies????

£700 Canon 70-200 70-200mm F2.8 - URGALAXY (£810 from 7dayshop)
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....me=STRK:MEWA:IT

£550 - Sigma Lens for Canon EF - 70-200mm F2.8 APO EX HSM
http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=99533

Can anyone see these cheaper???

I can definately vouch for the Sigma 70-200 2.8, It's been working great for me taking indoor photos of HS Basketball from the bleachers, in poor lighting. I'm going to be switching to some Canon L primes to cover the range, but that's only because I got some extra money to spend. The Sigma is very nice for the price, especially if you don't need IS.

Hi Balls,

Ive had my Sigma for 2 years now and love it. $400 (USd) cheaper than the non IS, $1000 (USd) cheaper than the IS. Stacks up with the L's.....check this out http://www.photozone.de/2Equipment/easytxt.htm#F24 .

bhphotovideo.com (US New York) has the Sigma at $799 US. Sorry, dont have conversion to your funds offhand. B+H is EXTREMELLY reliable here in the states.
