Hey there,
I had to get a few 4x6 prints done in a hurry today. I ran by my local cvs, inserted a cd with raw and converted jpegs. Much to my surprise, I could see the raw files without having to convert. I was in too much of a hurry to go thru and print those, but it looked as if you could print as you would any of the jpegs. Has anyone done this? I was wondering if it was just reading the thumbnails. This might be common knowledge, but it surprised me as many in-computer programs won't read the raw file.

I suspect that their machine was simply displaying the thumbnail rather than the true raw image. I doubt they would be able to convert your raw file into a tiff or jpeg for printing.
