Very busy shot. Maybe I cropped to much but this works better and more focus on the background.

Very busy shot. Maybe I cropped to much but this works better and more focus on the background.


You are absolutely right. I don't normally shoot this direction because it's just too busy and I don't have a long enough lens to isolate the elements in the background enough. The crop is nice, but it crops too much to make a decent print. One day I'll get a good shot of this scene with a long lens. I borrowed a 200mm a little while ago, and it was still too short to get a good framing. I think haze is going to be an issue once I can actually reach far enough.
