First one is definately the best of the set, but not much you can do about the junkyard in front of the GN car! The first is one of those angles not normally seen and draw you into the picture at first glance. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you both!

I agree that the GN car would be great with out all the stuff in front of it. The back side had another car 3/4 the way up or I would have gotten a decent shot of that side.

I too love old trains and lots of pictures. The first one is very good. I like the train itself on the second and third. Are these trains out of service? If so, are you able to get a shot from the right side of the train in #3 with a wide angle to try and get the junk out of the picture without losing all of the back of the car? This angle, with the junk in it, may tell a better story of a train graveyard. Just a suggestion. I still like all three pictures.

Have a great day and I hope you can post more trains.

My 18-55 was as wide as I could get it. The other side of the car was too close to another row of passenger cars. These are out of service now. They did run for the Ohio Central for a while which did Dinner Runs if I'm not mistaken. They now sit on a siding in Orrville, Ohio. Insurance costs for running on other rail lines trackage made it impossible to continue running.
