Bethells Beach after Sunset

That sure is a top photo. And it a real smooth looking beach :-).

Clarity - Bethells Beach is on the west coast of the North Island of New Zealand, just west of Auckland (according to my atlas :-) )

Yes, Bethell's or Te Henga Beach is on the west coast of Auckland. The backgrop is native bush and steep slopes, and the beach is covered with iron sand/black sand. It makes walking along the beach in summer very difficult. Don't forget footware!
