Here are some formal and informal pics of New Zealands 'top' news presenters, taken last year. Shot without lighting, using 50mm f1.8 lens, under the tv studio's lights. I was thrown in the deepend (last minute assignment) and managed to swim. Not as sharp as I would have liked, but not bad considering it was 1/60 at 1.8 on 400!

Yeah ... great shots.
I guess the lighting in a TV studio is great for taking portrait shots...
