I started to see the Eastern Towhee on Saturday, (the first one I had ever seen). I could not get a good picture of him. I always like to try and get the birds eyes highlighted in the light and he just would not cooperate with my camera. I finally got a reasonable picture of him against the snow.
The Hermit Thrush was also a first time visitor. He was very brazen, like a chickadee and a bit of a ham.
Both shots with a 20D, ISO 200, 400mm, handheld.
